The Marché aux Fruits Rouges – Festival of Red Fruits is held annually in early July at Noyon (60 Oise, Picardie) 5 July 2015

logoAs is customary in France this is a celebration of the local red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, cherries, red currants etc) and as well as 100 local producers offering fruits to buy, there will be music, a cookery demonstration/competition and the local café waiters have a race around the town centre – all in front of the impressive Cathedral.

Noyon is about 90 miles north east of Paris.

B&B Chateau de Quesmy

Just outside the town is a rather special B&B at Chateau de Quesmy, an elegant Chateau set in the Picardy countryside, with n a one-hectare park with landscaped gardens and a covered, heated swimming pool.
