The French Government has published a list of average prices for petrol across the EU - and you guessed right - we have the most expensive petrol in the EU - at €1.42 a litre, compared to the next most expensive (Italy) at €1.22 and France at €1.11. The cheapest was Luxembourg at €0.96.
